이성과 감성을 주제로한 유사성을 가진 애니메이션의 발전(?)

인간의 이성과 감성을 주제로한 흥미로운 세 개의 유사한 애니메이션을 소개한다. 

Reason and Emotion (1943)   

2차 세계대전(2 world war propaganda Cartoon)과 관련하여 디즈니사가 1943년에 발표한 카툰 애니메이션. 누군가가 브레인 디비이드의 컨셉트와 유사하다고 하는 고전 카툰

Brain Divided(2013) 

2013년 Josiah Haworth, Joon Shik Song & Joon Soo Song 의 의해 만들어진 애니메이션. 

  

Inside Out Official Trailer #1 (2015) - Disney & Pixar

2015년에 개봉예정작인  디즈니&픽사의 애니메이션.

인사이드 아웃이라는 애니메이션의 예고편이 발표되었을때  많은 사람들은 2013년 발표된 브레인 디바이디드와 연관성, 카피성을 의심했다.

이런 루머와 논란에 대해 브레인 디바이디드의 공식 페이스북에서는 아래와 같은 입장을 밝혔다.

"어떤 사람들인 픽사가 브레인 디바이디드의  아이디어를 훔쳤다고 말하지만 자신들은 그렇게 생각하지 않는다. 유사한것에 대한 언급되는것이 매우 영광스럽게 생각한다. 

픽사와 주요 스튜디오 들의 영화 작업은 오랜시간이 걸리며 브레인 디바이디드의 필름이 오픈되기전부터 준비해왔을 것으로 본다. 

자신들은 픽사의 이 아이디어에 대해서 알지 못하며 그들 또한 자신들에 대해서 알지 못할것이다. 이런일로 인해 자신들의 단편 애니메이션이 다시금  되살아 나서 관심을 받는것은 무척 기쁜일이다."

어느 필름이든 비난을 하지 않기를 바란다.  자신들은 픽사의 인사이드 아웃의 트레일러를 보고 매우 흥분하고 개봉을 기대하고 있다.  자신들의 관심과 지원을 해주시는 모든 분들에게 고마움을 전하며  개봉할 인사이드 아웃을 보러가자. 그것은 기다리기 힘들다." 

"We would like to take a moment to quell any rumors or incorrect assumptions about the parallels between Pixar's Inside Out and our film Brain Divided. While we are very flattered that some people think that Pixar stole our idea, it is completely untrue. Making a movie at a major studio like Pixar takes a long time, and Inside Out has been in development for years before our film.
We didn't know about Pixar's film idea and they didn't know about ours. And while we are glad that the trailer is reinvigorating interest in our short film, please do not detract from either film because they are somewhat similar. We are very excited to see Inside Out and very pleased that you all love our film so much as well. We appreciate all the support and love you all have shown our film, be sure to go see Inside Out when it hit theaters next year!

Inside Out Looks amazing i cant wait to see it!"
